Venues

Sauna Sauna (yes, that is its name) hosts a monthly bisexual (pansexual) 14 hour party, first Friday of each month. It's a sprawling, two-floor, two-wing building with less than a quarter of its floorspace given to the actual sauna, the rest is bar, changing rooms, many private rooms, an orgy room, glory hole alley, mini maze, darkrooms, open kink rooms... This is their website and this is the fabswingers.com forum post for the next party (I'll update this link after each party, you need an account with fabswingers.com to view). It is my favourite party, not to say that I've had a wonderful time each visit. I go at least 6 times a year. The venue also hosts regular straight swinger nights and weekly trans nights, but there's plenty of trans people at the bi nights and I prefer the blend of genders present then -- I've only been once on a gay night, once on a trans night, their biggest of the year, held annually in November.

Townhouse, Birkenhead

Club with frequent themed nights. I've been once, had a fair good time but because it was my first, I felt a little out of water -- but you do these things to broaden your horizons, yeah? I went to their Queerspace event, it was cool. Their next event interesting to me is Queerspace Social, but on 19^th June, lands on a Thursday, the one evening of the week I prefer to stay home -- we'll see closer to the event. I wasn't a fan of the no-phone policy, everywhere else I've been, the policy has been, yes you can use phones in the bar area, we trust you not to take photos -- or in the case of RIOT Party, they cover your phone lens on entry and because everybody is dressed to impress, provide free professional photographers for you to pose for if you want, and have said snaps shared amongst attendees, if you're brave enough, and yes I am).

Nero's/ Partners, Bury

Dual personality venue, Nero's is its gay name, Partners is its straight name. Biphoria is the weekly bi event all afternoon and evening on Thursdays and Kage is the monthly kinkfest, fairly pansexually leaning and quite busy.

RIOT Party, no fixed venue, MCR (and other cities)

They hold social events in various venues and evening raves with areas for intimacy, roughly monthly. In Summer the raves are at Rebellion night club (basement of Deansgate Railway Station) and in Winter '24-25, was held at Area night club on the outskirts of the village. Celebrates all genders and orientations, s-workers and queer POC. I go for the people, the vibes they emanate and the opportunity to express through dress.

Club Play, Blackpool

Really nice venue. I've not been in a long while, not since I loosened up and started getting laid, so I'm due a return visit as Mxtress Smith. Despite the name Club Play (I dislike the word "play" in a sexual context). Bi events there are fairly irregular, like maybe once a quarter and not on a schedule. Their next event I'll very likely skip, as it is the day after I plan to go to the next Northwich bi-day party for the afternoon, then see two grunge-era tribute acts in Rebellion (yes, same venue as Riot Party), then join a munch of kinky metalheads in The Salisbury then if I still have steam left, maybe a few hours in Satan's Hollow metal club before I drive home. I digress -- Club Play -- their events are posted a month or two in advance, so there's never more than one bi party listed, sometimes none.

Steam Complex/ Pandora, Leeds

You can tell from the biphoria page, Leeds is operated by the same people as runs Nero's/ Partners in Bury and they run on the same timetable of weekly, Thursday early afternoon until late night. For me, direct by A-Roads or by M66 then M62, Leeds is at least twice the distance and more than twice the time to get to compared to Bury, but see earlier comment about Townhouse in Birkenhead, horizons and the broadening thereof. My first visit was on 29th May and a good time was had 😍 🍆➕🏳️‍⚧️🍆💦🫢😛!
