Sauna Sauna, Northwich CW8 4GX

Sauna Sauna (yes, that is its name) hosts a monthly bisexual (pansexual) 14 hour party, first Friday of each month.  It's a sprawling, two-floor, two-wing building with less than a quarter of its floor space given to the actual sauna, the rest is licensed bar, changing rooms, many private rooms, an orgy room, glory hole alley, mini maze, darkrooms, open kink rooms...  This is their website and this is their Gay Sauna Guide info page.  (They don't use fabswingers.com anymore.)  It's my favourite party, not to say that I've had a wonderful time each visit.  I go at least 6 times a year to the bi events.  Besides that, they do a few straight events every month under the name Club Alchemy, a weekly trans and admirers night, rest of the time predominantly gay catering. There's plenty of trans people at the bi nights and I prefer the blend of genders present then — I've been to a few gay nights, a couple of trans nights.  I've recently got an appreciation for the steam room and when cross dressing (most of the time), I have an outfit for that room apart from the rest of the club.  Makeup goes on after steam room fun.

Townhouse, Birkenhead CH42 3TL

Club with frequent themed nights.  I've been once, had a fair good time but because it was my first, I felt a little out of water -- but you do these things to broaden your horizons, yeah?  I went to their Queerspace event in March, it was cool.  I'll be keeping an eye out for it but their last one was on a Thursday, the one evening of the week I prefer to stay home.  I wasn't a fan of the no-phone policy. Everywhere else I've been, the policy has been, yes you can use phones in the bar area, we trust you not to take photos. Or, in the case of RIOT Party, they cover your phone lens on entry and because everybody is dressed to impress, they provide free professional photographers for you to pose for if you want, and have said snaps shared amongst attendees, if you're brave enough, and yes I am.

Nero's/ Partners, Bury BL8 1SW

Dual personality venue, Nero's is its gay name, Partners is its straight name.  Biphoria is the weekly bi event all afternoon and evening on Thursdays  the only time I've been it was fairly quiet.  Kage is the monthly kinkfest  pansexual and quite busy, not entirely my scene though.

Steam Complex/ Pandora, Leeds LS12 2ND

This venue is a lot easier for me to get to by train than driving  factor in cycling to and from train stations, the journey should take 1hr30ish. You can tell from the biphoria page, this Leeds event is promoted in the same way as the Nero's/ Partners in Bury and they run on the same timetable: every Thursday, early afternoon until late night.  Small sauna.  Large pool.  BYOB, bar serving free tea, coffee and water, soft drinks, snacks for sale.  Fairly large collection of rooms for fun across 2 more floors.  I tend to go when I'm off work.  Planning my 3rd visit this year on 30th October.

RIOT Party, no fixed venue, MCR (and other cities)

They hold social events in various venues and evening raves with areas for intimacy, roughly monthly.  They celebrate all genders and orientations, s-workers and queer POC.  I go for the people, the vibes they emanate and the opportunity to express through dress.
